Managing Your Health at Home

Most coughs, colds, sore throats and flu like illnesses can be managed at home through self care and do not require you to see a health professional. They are caused by a Virus and do not require antibiotics, these are only successful in treating a bacterial infection.

Viral illnesses will settle over a 5-7 day period with rest, fluids and pain killers such as paracetamol or you can speak to your local pharmacist, who will be happy to assist.
